Arcanus Canum’s Laws and Expectations

All of these rules only apply to anything regarding in-character actions and roleplay.

 

[ Respect ]

1. Respect is earned, thus, one is not required to give respect if thy does not deem it necessary. However, superiors are allowed to assert dominance if need be to enforce that respect if one’s behavior gets out of hand or they become intolerable.

2. Females are generally treated fairly, however, there are certain instances where they were overlooked.

3. Omegas should be treated with a baseline level of respect, however, should not receive your linency.

4. Prisoners should not receive your leniency and it is common knowledge that they also do not deserve any shred of your respect.

 

[ Territory ]

1. Permission is not required to leave the territory whether it is during the day or night. However, a superior or authority should be notified of your character’s absence from the Main Grounds (whether it is via IC or OOC).

2. New Bloods are not allowed to leave the Main Grounds, whether accompanied by a parent/guardian or not.

3. Adolescents are allowed to leave the Main Grounds only when accompanied by a parent/guardian.

4. Omegas are not allowed to leave the Main Grounds and must remain either in Main Grounds or The Pit.

5. Elders are heavily discouraged from leaving the Main Grounds. However, with ample protection and watchful eyes, it is acceptable.

 

[ Behavior ]

1. Behaviors should be kept as realistic as possible. Thus, the use of wolf body language, following traditions and social norms (which are listed in ‘Culture and Traditions’ page on the website), heat cycles, and mating, etc.

2. Cursing of any sorts is allowed and does not need to be censored. However, offensive derogatory words that slander another person’s character will be severely punished. Only mild slander will be accepted, yet heavily regulated.

 

[ Sexual Content ]

1. Sexual content, such as mating, is allowed and should either be kept in a designated NSFW channel or privately in direct messages.

2. Rape, in any form, will not be tolerated. 

3. Any sexual content that your character engages in must begin with both parties showing consent via OOC.
